Rules and Agreement for Use of the Clubhouse

Cedar Pointe Homeowners’ Association

The clubhouse is a shared community space and should be treated as an extension of your home. Residents are expected to use and care for the facility in a respectful and responsible manner.


Reservation & Fees

  • The clubhouse is reserved on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
  • Residents may reserve the clubhouse only; the pool is not available for private reservation.
  • A $30 rental fee is required and must be paid in advance of the event date.
  • To check availability and request a reservation, submit the Clubhouse Reservation Form or email the Board at [email protected].
  • The homeowner submitting the reservation is responsible for compliance with all rules and must remain on site during the event.

General Use Rules

  • Absolutely NO glitter is allowed in the clubhouse.
  • No smoking is permitted within the clubhouse.
  • Burning of candles (other than small birthday candles) is not permitted in the clubhouse.
  • Food and beverages must remain inside the clubhouse. Water is permitted in the pool area.
    Food and drinks are not allowed in the pool area as they may disrupt chemical levels.
  • The resident who reserves the clubhouse must remain on the premises for the entire event, including cleanup.

Cleanup Responsibilities

The resident reserving the clubhouse is responsible for cleanup of the clubhouse and surrounding premises. Cleanup includes, but is not limited to:

  • Light Sweeping and/or vacuuming of any spills
  • Wiping down all countertops, tables, kitchen sinks, and any soiled surfaces
  • Washing and drying any dishes used
  • Cleaning all food and beverage spills, including spots on carpet or upholstery
  • Picking up all trash inside and outside the clubhouse
    (A garbage container and recycle bin are located behind the clubhouse.)
  • DO NOT leave leftover food or beverages — please take all items with you
  • Returning folding tables and chairs to their designated storage areas and arranging other furniture as found
  • Turning off lights and appliances and locking all doors
  • Return key as directed by Clubhouse chairperson
  • After the event, set the thermostat to:
    • 80 degrees in the summer, or
    • 60 degrees in the winter

Damage & Liability

  • The resident reserving the clubhouse is responsible for any damage or loss caused by members of their party.
  • The resident assumes full financial responsibility for repairs or replacements as necessary.
  • Any damage or loss should be reported at the time the key is returned.

Personal Property & Conduct

  • The Cedar Pointe Homeowners’ Association is not responsible for personal belongings brought into the clubhouse.
  • The Association is not responsible for illegal acts committed by individuals using the facility.
